How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to provide, secure, support, or legally operate the service. This may include sharing information with:
- Participating healthcare providers, hospitals, pharmacies, laboratories, nurses, ambulance providers, home care providers, and delivery partners involved in a user's requested service.
- Payment processors and mobile money providers used to process, verify, refund, or reconcile payments.
- Messaging, hosting, storage, analytics, maintenance, and technical service providers that help operate the platform.
- Government, regulator, law enforcement, court, auditor, or other third party when required by law or necessary to protect users, providers, DoctorNow Holdings Inc, or the public.
We do not sell patient medical information.
Medical Records And Consent
KABCARE may let users view, upload, or share care records with participating providers. Users should only share information they are authorized to provide. Providers are responsible for professional care decisions and for maintaining records required by applicable healthcare rules.
Where the app asks for consent to share medical history or records, that consent controls the related sharing workflow unless another legal basis applies.
Payments
KABCARE may use third-party payment processors to collect appointment fees, bills, memberships, and other service payments. We receive transaction references, payment status, amount, currency, payer information, and related verification details. We do not ask users to send full card numbers or payment PINs to KABCARE support.
Security And Retention
We use administrative, technical, and operational safeguards designed to protect personal and health-related information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to limit access to authorized users, providers, administrators, and service providers who need the information to perform their role.
We keep information for as long as needed to provide services, support users, resolve disputes, meet legal and regulatory obligations, maintain records, prevent fraud, and operate the platform. Retention periods may vary by record type and legal requirement.
User Choices And Requests
To initiate account deletion, open Settings in the app and select Delete Account. Your account is disabled immediately. Support completes permanent deletion within 14 days and confirms completion by SMS, email, or WhatsApp. Required medical, payment, audit, or legal records may be retained. For help without signing in, call +233 24 257 3008 or contact support on WhatsApp.
You can turn off notification, camera, microphone, photo, or location permissions in your device settings. Turning off a permission may prevent the related feature from working.
Users may request help accessing, correcting, exporting, restricting, or deleting personal information where applicable law allows. Some medical, payment, audit, safety, or legal records may need to be retained even after an account request.
For privacy questions, account deletion, medical record requests, or correction requests, contact KABCARE support at https://kabcareapp.com/support.html.
Children
KABCARE is intended for users who can lawfully create an account or for caregivers using the service for a dependent where allowed. A parent, guardian, or authorized caregiver should contact support if they believe a child has provided information without appropriate permission.
